Who we are

Hello! We are Emma and Jake Roberts: Owners of MDP Properties.

MDP Properties was built as an extension of our property management business: grounded in our local expertise, long-term thinking, and commitment to protecting our clients’ investments.

After managing, buying and selling our own residential properties throughout Washtenaw and Livingston County, we saw firsthand what property owners, sellers, and tenants truly need: clear guidance, honest communication, and representation that puts their interests first. With over a decade of experience, our boutique brokerage was created to offer that same hands-on approach to all aspects of real estate.

Representing Southeast Michigan homeowners and future homeowners Emma is committed to listening to her clients needs and utilizing her years of expertise in every aspect of real estate to ensure a successful transaction.

A local, Emma attended Dexter High School. Emma’s mission is to share her love of living in the greater Ann Arbor area, with it’s beautiful outdoor spaces, culture and diversity. Emma graduated from The University of Tennessee with a Bachelor’s of Science in Animal Science. She started her professional career in Pharmaceutical sales, but found her true calling in real estate here in the mitten, becoming a Realtor in 2020.

Emma went on to gain her brokers license and expand her business by opening her own brokerage, MDP Properties. MDP Properties is focused on helping people from all walks of life with buying, selling, investing and managing real estate.

When she isn’t helping her clients achieve their real estate goals, Emma loves spending time exploring local parks, restaurants and festivals with her two sons and husband.

Jake Roberts

Owner, Property Manager, Realtor®

Serving his clients needs has always been a hallmark of Jake’s real estate journey. A licensed Realtor, in addition to showing homes Jake has a focus and expertise in property management and real estate investments.

Passionate about the real estate investment side of the industry-Jake started his personal real estate portfolio in 2020, in which he was able to gain the experience, knowledge, and scale his portfolio and property management systems. With his personal knowledge from buying, selling and managing his own rental properties, Jake is able to help clients with everything: from finding the right property, to adding value, to stabilizing rents.

Jake graduated from Ohio University in Athens, OH with his Bachelor’s of Science in Journalism and his Master’s of Education. Prior to beginning his career in real estate, Jake traveled the country selling commercial and residential real estate software.

When Jake isn’t working; playing disc golf, watching football and baseball, and chasing his two boys are at the top of the list. You may find him turning screws and rolling paint for his latest projects on his Instagram story: @jroberts.realestate
